KOOL A.D. is back like he never left with Official, a seven-song project that finds him linking up with producer and frequent collaborator Trackademicks. Fans of A.D. shouldn't be too surprised by the new release as he's been prolific in his output over the last year or so, recently sharing a 100-song project to flex on the competition. But it's a welcome listen all the same.
"I made these 7 tracks over a couple days with the long time homie Trackademicks last time I was in the bay a short while back," KOOL A.D. told Complex over email. "I know I just dropped a 100 song album (and like 4 other albums right before that) but these ones were too slappy not to drop right now while there's still some summer left. Not really in the habit of sitting on my music anymore."
