The two brothers of Toya Wright, the reality TV personality and ex-wife of Lil Wayne, were reportedly shot and killed in New Orleans early Sunday morning. BET reports that incident happened at 1:26 a.m. while the Rudy and Josh Johnson were sitting in their car in New Orleans' 7th Ward, and notes that the New Orleans Police Department tweeted out information regarding the crime.
Although the identities of the victims have not been confirmed by the police, the girlfriend of Rudy Johnson seemingly confirmed the news with an Instagram post.
In the years since she divorced Lil Wayne in 2006, Wright has risen to prominence as a reality television star, author, and business owner. She's starred in shows like Toya and Tiny, and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars over the past few years. She and Wayne remain on good terms and have been public about co-parenting. Wright married again in 2011, but filed divorce papers earlier this week.
