At the top of the year, we correctly predicted a big year for east Londoner SNE, and just past the halfway point, about to put the finishing touches to latest project Essence, the self-proclaimed "golden child" of Hackney certainly hasn't let us down. Dropping "Come Again", the latest in a line of melodic, R&B-infused offerings, SNE joins forces with long-time collaborator Penhouse, responsible for last year's breakout single "Tiana Major" and "SFTW" from last month, as he rides a lush Aaliyah sample flip, reminiscing about a past relationship. A further exploration of his 'trillful' blend of rap and nostalgia, expect to hear more of the same on Essence, scheduled for release later this summer.
