Need some new music to add to your Fourth of July weekend playlist? Jazz Cartier’s got you.

On Saturday’s episode of OVO Sound Radio, listeners got to hear the Toronto rapper’s latest tune, which pays tribute to the one and only Lil Wayne. The song, aptly titled “Lil Wayne,” begins with a sound clip fromThe Carter documentary and then goes into a beat that can only be described as fire.

“Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne, diamonds on my neck going bling bling,” Cuzzi raps in the hook. 

It’s fitting the song debuted on OVO Sound Radio, as Drake is also a huge fan of Weezy’s, as well as a longtime collaborator of his. Maybe this shout-out will lead to a collaboration between Jazz and Tunechi in the near future. But if not, at least fans can look forward to more releases by Jazz ... at least that's what he's hinting at on social media:
