Calvin Harris Calls Out Taylor Swift for Revealing She Wrote "This Is What You Came For" (UPDATE)

UPDATED 7/19/16 4:55 PM: It seems Taylor Swift's pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg, is already long gone as Swift's name is now officially listed as the co-writer of the hit song on the BMI site. Interestingly enough, Swift's name has not been updated on the ASCAP website as of press time, which is the publishing company that represents Harris. The change in the name will not impact how much each artist makes from the track, but it's definitely an interesting twist considering Swift reportedly made the pseudonym originally so that her involvement would go undetected.

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have definitely had a stressed relationship ever since their breakup in June and now Harris is calling Swift out for suddenly revealing that she wrote his latest hit with Rihanna, "This Is What You Came For."

A person from Swift's team confirmed Swift wrote the song under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, according to People before making it seem like this was actually the source of their breakup because she was allegedly hurt when Harris told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that he couldn't seem himself collaborating with Swift on a song because she deserves a long break. Harris has taken to Twitter to clarify Taylor's involvement. He praises Swift's songwriting skills, but explains that he was the one who wrote the music, and produced and arranged the song.

The reveal leaves Harris wondering why her team is going after him when she appears to be pretty happy in a new relationship with Tom Hiddleston. "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though 🤔," he tweets. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

If you remember, the breakup between Harris and Swift began on relatively good terms with Harris tweeting that he had nothing but love and respect for his ex, who later retweeted him. However, that tweet, and all pictures of her were deleted pretty shortly after her romance with Hiddleston began to infiltrate the internet as pictures of the pair globetrotting began to pop up everywhere.

Many speculated that his new song with John Newman is about his breakup with Swift from the perspective of Hiddleston. However, there is nothing clearer than a tweet from the source laying out how he feels. He even brings Katy Perry, Swift's most rumored rival as the source of "Bad Blood" into it, alleging that he is playing the part of her new public enemy. "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it," he writes. Perry later added her own commentary without using words, but instead tweeted a gif of Hillary Clinton giving a telling eyebrow raise and shoulder shrug. She also retweeted her own 2015 tweet reading, "Time, the ultimate truth teller."

To his credit, Harris absolutely pays respect to Swift for her work on the track, but he questions the timing of this information getting out. This sounds like the most honest we've heard Harris since the split. Read all of his tweets below.
