The Avalanches make their return with the video for their first single in well over a decade, "Frankie Sinatra." The Melbourne group debuted the track on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show.

"Frankie Sinatra" features Danny Brown and MF DOOM along with a surprising sample from The Sound of Music that only enhances the group's bombastic, fun-house-inspired tune. Directed by Fleur & Manu (Drake, A$AP Rocky, M83), the video was shot in the bayou of New Orleans and focuses on a maddening, almost spastic lives of the people in the town with "inspiration from southern swamp culture.”

The release arrives after a lot of very strong hints from the band that they would be dropping new music including a video trailer, tour dates at festivals including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and London’s Field Day Festival, and a telephone hotline that would play clips of a new song called "Subways." The teaser was actually a preview of the group's upcoming documentary, What Ever Happened to the Avalanches? that will hopefully let us all know what the group has been up to over the past 16 years since releasing their debut album appropriately titled, Since I Left You.

The band also announced they will be dropping a new album titled Wildflower that will feature a heavy dose of features. The group has tapped Father John Misty, Toro Y Moi, Royal Trux's Jennifer Herrema, Camp Lo, Biz Markie, and Warren Ellis of the Bad Seeds/Dirty Three for the album. Watch the video for "Frankie Sinatra" above and look for the track on The Avalanches new album when it drops July 1.
