People seem to believe Katy Perry is reigniting her feud with Taylor Swift through her new perfume called "Mad Love."

It wasn't too long ago that Swift and Perry's rumored feud—fueled by Swift's Rolling Stone interview and "Bad Blood" music video—was pretty much everywhere. There was also that time Swift laughed when the Perry-associated Left Shark made an appearance during her 1989 world tour. "You know it used to be mad love," Swift sang on the track that many believed to be aimed at Perry. Swift later backtracked on the whole thing in an interview with GQ where she tried to convince the public that the song wasn't about Perry and was actually a song about an ex.

However, Perry has been more forthcoming about her feelings for Swift. Perry once tweeted,"Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing." She later confirmed the intention of the tweet to Billboard saying, "If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it." Perry later took a moment to shade Swift during that whole VMA debacle in 2015, but things were looking up for the two artists when Perry invited Swift to her Pre-Grammys in February 2016.

It should be noted that Perry has released perfumes before and called last year's fragrance "Mad Potion." The name "Mad Love" makes sense in the scheme of Perry's brand and it could just be a coincidence. However, some are also noting the cat in the advertising since Swift is known for her two beloved cats. Either way, it seems a pretty genius business move on Perry's part. She did beat out Swift in 2015 as Forbes' richest female celebrity. Katy Perry's "Mad Love" perfume is available here.
