Puff Daddy is an undisputed rap mogul, and as such he has the power and caché to sign pretty much any artist in the world to his label Bad Boy Records. For his latest signing however, Puff looked no further than his own backyard, inking his son Christian to his first record deal . And on the young man's birthday no less! "I got signed to epic and BADboy records," the rapper wrote on Instagram. "I'm extremely thankful for everything that God has blessed me with and I will never take it for granted. Music is something that's been part of me my whole life."
“NEW DEAL ALERT!!! Everyone wish my son @KingCombs a happy birthday & CONGRATS on signing that record deal!!” Puff wrote in the caption to an Instagram video announcing the news. Also present for the event was another music mogul, L.A. Reid, who is the CEO of Epic Records, which is the company that handles all of Bad Boy's distribution. The terms of the deal have yet to be announced. Could this be the first step of a real life Empire situation?
