It sounds like Top Dawg Entertainment's Terrence "Punch" Henderson is finally ready to make his debut album. In a new interview with Billboard, the company co-president reveals plans that he is ready to make a full-length project. "I think I'mma do a project for sure," says Punch. "I think I'm going to finally finish it because I write a lot and I record every so often. I think I'm just gonna go ahead and knock it out at this point." He explains the reason behind this sudden decision is a relentless itch to make music. "Before, it was like, 'OK, I write a little bit, I can rap. Let me put it down for fun, it's cool.' At this point, it's starting to turn into a burning. I really want to do it now."

Most recently, Punch made a massive appearance on Kendrick Lamar's surprise release, untitled, unmastered., on "untitled 05 | 09.21.2014," marking their first time rapping together in years. He says the verse only took him 20 minutes to finish because "it came straight 'from the heart.'" The label executive has made a name for himself in offering thought provoking, dense, raw lyrical wit in his raps. Back in 2014, he served up knowledge on "Untitled" along with the soulful "A Project Mind" featuring Jay Rock and BJ the Chicago Kid. Punch offered no clues as to when we can expect a project from him, but don't be surprised if it comes soon.
