The always-ecclectic Nardwuar linked up with a number of artists at SXSW for interviews, including Kehlani, Metro Boomin, and DJ Khaled. Now, he's back with a joint interview with Lil Uzi Vert, Don Cannon, and DJ Drama, and he got the dish on their career influences and come up.
First up was Lil Uzi Vert, whom Nardwuar grilled about everything from his love of Mike Jones and Marilyn Manson to his girlfriend's high school basketball career. It seemed like Lil Uzi didn't think that last one would go voer well after Nardwuar pulled out an old candid photo of her. "She's gonna hate you," he said. "And she loves you."
Eventually, Don Cannon and DJ Drama also appeared, and had to make some decisions on which of their influences they liked more. They didn't exactly make it clear, but they both expressed a lot of love for both DJ Clue and Kid Capri. Eventually, Lil Uzi jumped back in to tell them they were boring him.
