If you listen to Drake, there's a good chance you've heard of Majid Jordan—the electro/R&B duo comprised of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman. The two met while attending the University of Toronto back in 2011. After vibing over similar music influences, Majid Jordan (f.k.a. Good People) went on to create their first EP titled After Hours. It was this project that would later attract the attention of OVO's Noah "40" Shebib and of course, Drake, who they collaborated with on the smash hit "Hold On, We're Going Home."

Today they released their debut studio album, Majid Jordanwith the help of some of the best producers in the game. To find out more about the on-the-rise duo, we sat down with them at Manhattan's Hudson Hotel Bar where they told us about their past, the day they met Drake, and what we can expect from their new album. Check out the video above for the interview in full.
