Following a missed connection on the Grammy's stage earlier in the week, Lauryn Hill and The Weeknd linked up last night on the Tonight Show for a stunning duet. Bathed in an almost eerie blue light, the two performed the latter's song "In The Night," the third single from his breakout album Beauty Behind the Madness. It was an incredible performance, complete with a very full, double-digit band backing them up behind.

As mentioned, Hill and The Weeknd were supposed to sing together on the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, but then she no-showed. There's been a great dispute about what went down that night with Hill's people stating that, "Any performance that could have happened was never confirmed, and should not have been advertised as such." Academy President Neil Portnow refuted that claim saying, "Our intention was, and we were ready, right up to the moment of the performance, for her to step up on stage." Hill's reps responded to that rebuttal saying, "Ms. Hill attempted a last minute rush to LA, to see if this could happen, but unfortunately timing that day kept it from being a reality."

However she didn't make it to the Grammys it's fair to say she more than made up for it last night. Check out the performance for yourself above.
