UPDATE 2/17/16 10:15AM: Tyga appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and cleared up the Paul McCartney incident with a humorous skit that included the rapper getting denied entry to Jimmy Kimmel's green room. "I had no knowledge, I was like inside performing. I wish I would have knew he was outside. I would have went out there with the mic, brought him in, and perform 'Rack City' with me," he said. "Tweet the fire marshall, don't tweet me." Tyga also invited Paul to his upcoming show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. What a nice gesture. Check out the video below.

When news broke this morning that indisputable musical icon Sir Paul McCartney was denied entrance to Tyga's Grammys after party, the internet was having none of itTMZ captured footage of the Beatles legend twice being rebuffed by security at the door of the party at the Argyle in Hollywood, outraging many who saw the move as disrespectful and frankly a little confusing. After all, who wouldn't want Paul McCartney at their party?

Tyga took to Twitter today and denied he had any personal involvement. "Why would I deny Paul McCartney stop it," he wrote, adding "he's a legend." Of course, it still happened, but Tyga wanted everyone to know that it wasn't his doing. "I don't control the door. I had no knowledge SIR PAUL was there. I just performed and left."

Thankfully, McCartney was able to attend Republic Records' afterparty, where some of the night's big winners, including Taylor Swift and the Weeknd were in attendance. Hopefully he was still able to enjoy himself despite the rebuff from Tyga's security detail.
