Earlier today, the RIAA announced audio and video streams will now be accounted for when it comes to album certifications. The move was effective immediately and boosted albums like Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly to platinum status. Pretty awesome, right? Not according to the CEO of TDE, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who took to Twitter to express his contempt with the new RIAA formula.

"We don't stand behind this @RIAA bs. ole skool rules apply, 1 million albums sold is platinum.until we reach that #, save all the congrats," he wrote. "no cheat codes 2 platinum."
