The NFL probably left Janet out because of that whole wardrobe malfunction thing.

Last night, La Toya Jackson noticed something was missing from the Super Bowl's Halftime show and performance montage: her sister Janet Jackson. The singer took to Twitter following the performance to voice her opinion and question why her sister's performance was conveniently left out, though she did appreciate Beyoncé's homage to her brother Michael Jackson.

The energy of #SB50 #PepsiHalftime show was great! Beyoncé Coldplay and Bruno Mars!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
But what happened to Janet Jackson in the montage!
Loved Beyoncé at #PepsiHalftime inspired #MichaelJackson look! Great! #SB50 😊 pic.twitter.com/ZTlfT8CvJR

Of course, it's not too much of a question as to why the NFL would have left one of the most memorable halftime performances out of its montage. Many still remember the shock and chaos that fateful "wardrobe malfunction" caused in 2004. It turns out La Toya wasn't the only one who noticed Janet's glaring absence from the trip down memory lane. Just because it's not in the montage, doesn't mean it didn't happen, NFL.

No @JanetJackson in the montage? Must've been some kind of a slip. #SB50
Dear #sb50, just because you leave Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake out of your montage doesn't mean it didn't happen.
No Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction in the montage? #fail
they cannot do a montage of halftime shows without Janet Jackson's nipple
Conspicuously absent from the #sb50 montage: Katy Perry's left shark, and Janet Jackson's...left shark.
