Rap-A-Lot Records Founder James Prince Will Be a Keynote Speaker at the 2016 SXSW Music Conference

James A. Prince, the founder and CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records, has been tapped as a Keynote Speaker for this year's SXSW. He will be interviewed by Bun B on Thursday, March 11 at the Austin, Tex. music conference and festival. As the CEO, Prince has been instrumental in the careers of a number of prominent hip-hop artists, including Geto BoysScarface, Bun B, and more. He joins the already-announced Keynote Speaker, producer Tony Visconti, and is just the most recent in a series of educational speaker announcements by the festival. 

SXSW takes place between March 15-20 of this year, and is set to feature hundreds of musical acts ranging from major stars to unsigned artists. You can find out more about the event here.
