Super Bowl 50 is over and the Denver Broncos are your Super Bowl champions. Still, we can’t stop talking about when Beyoncé took the halftime show by storm with her performance of “Formation.” Furthermore, it meant that we will get to see “Formation” live when she embarks on her upcoming world tour.

With Black History Month happening throughout February, “Formation” is significant because it’s a very political song, where the video touches on Hurricane Katrina, police injustice and Black Lives Matter—all important things within black communities. Her short performance tonight contained a similar message, as she was paying homage to the Black Panther Party of Self Defense. For those unaware, it’s the largest black revolutionary and socialist organization that formed near Oakland, Calif.

Her dancers also paid tribute to Mario Woods, the 26-year-old black man who was killed by San Francisco Police.

Beyonce has uploaded several pictures on Instagram of the iconic moment. Check them out below.
