Lana Del Rey had a scary situation last month when a crazed fan allegedly broke into her home in Malibu. Now it looks like she'll at least have some peace of mind. According to TMZZachary Self was sentenced to 84 days in jail and 5 years of probation after pleading no contest to a stalking charge stemming from the incident. He'll also be required to stay away from Lana for the next decade.

According to the report, police tracked him down after he left behind a "Notice to Appear" citation from a burglary in Kansas and a notebook full of letters professing his love for her. TMZ reports that Self told police he became obsessed with the singer while under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs. His family has said that he suffers from bipolar disorder. Lana luckily wasn't home at the time of the original break-in. Self was found by a construction worker doing renovations to the home that she had purchased last June specifically to have more privacy. Hopefully this court order will keep the Honeymoon singer safe and sound from here on out.
