Ed Sheeran recently injured his eardrum while vacationing with friends in Spain. “I have to have an operation in January on my ear because I stupidly jumped off a yacht really high up and smashed it," he told Australian radio station Nova. "I landed wrong and it burst my eardrum so I have to go and get a graft, which means I’m not allowed to fly for a while, so it’s kind of good, it means I have to stay at home.” There are definitely worse ways to burst an eardrum.

The Grammy-nominated singer still finished up the Australian leg of his tour last night at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. Of course, he had a good reason to hit the stage since Elton John joined him to perform "Don't Go Breaking My Heart." Watch the performance below.
