Since dropping his debut album Testimony in 2014, August Alsina's life has been a veritable rollercoaster ride. There have been some ups: a BET award for "Best New Artist" and billing on Chris Brown's X Tour. There have also been some downs: severe medical issues, backstage brawls, and—just a few hours ago—Alsina accused his label of prematurely leaking his sophomore album, aptly named This Thing Called Life.
Recntly, 'Alsina The Ride' rolled through Complex HQ, where he spoke to Sean Evans about his road to happiness, getting snubbed by Drake, and new album. Check it out in the video above.
