A few days after announcing Blue Ivy Carter will appear on their new album, Coldplay returns with more collaboration news. In addition to recruiting Queen Bey and her daughter along with Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, the British group also enlisted President Barack Obama.
It turns out Obama didn't head into the studio for this one. Instead, the band is using a clip from his "Amazing Grace" performance that took place during his eulogy for Reverend Clementa C. Pickney following the tragic Charleston Church shooting earlier this year. "We have a tiny clip of the president singing 'Amazing Grace' at that church," Martin told The Sun. "Because of the historical significance of what he did and also that song being about, 'I'm lost but now I'm found'." The White House reportedly gave the band permission to use the clip which makes sense since the President included Coldplay on his Spotify playlist. Look for Coldplay's new album A Head Full Of Dreams to drop Dec. 4.
