Legendary MC KRS-One recently appeared on CNN to discuss the current state of racism in America, police brutality, and much more. KRS said he believes racism is worse right now than it was 30 years ago, and also thinks it's because of a lack of leadership in the United States. He also stated that he doesn't think police can be brutal because once a cop becomes brutal, they're no longer the police.
"We're not dealing with police, we're dealing with a federally authorized gang," he said. While the upcoming Presidential election isn't until next year, KRS said he seriously hopes everyone is educated on the candidates and subjects before they end up voting.
