Previous COMPLEX cover star FKA Twigs sat down with us earlier this year to talk all about her avant-garde vision for her latest EP release M3LLI55X and reinventing what it means to be a pop star in a fame-fueled world. A recent Sunday Times interview left the 27-year-old singer rattled, but today, she graces the cover of Paper magazine's new nowstalgia issue to reflect on her hectic year and her musical inspirations.

Interviewer Jazz Monroe touches on the subject of fandom and the celebrity-obsessed world we live in, asking Twigs if she had any obsessions of her own growing up.

None

Most revealing of all is when Twigs explained what motivates her to make music is children. "In the Michael Jackson-at-the-Super Bowl sense?" asks Paper. Twigs clarifies it's her own future kids that motivate her the most.
