BOOTS, the once enigmatic producer who was behind much of Beyoncé has since revealed himself as singer/songwriter Jordy Asher. We got to know him more with the release of his WinterSpringSummerFall mixtape, Motorcycle Jesus short film, production on FKA Twigs'M3LL155X EP and the subsequent track "Mercy."
Now, BOOTS is back at his musical groove once again gearing up for the release of his debut album AQUΛRIA next month. Early releases of the album's title track as well as "Bombs Away' offer his signature slinky electronics while simultaneously taking us deeper into the mind-warping capabilities of his genre-bending music. Today, "Bombs Away" gets its official visual accompaniment starring BOOTS in a foreboding blacklit badlands reminiscent of 1980's neo noir films. Foreboding signs and seedy streets set the scene as BOOTS navigates the inky underworld in the video he also directed.
