October 9th would have marked the late John Lennon's 75th birthday, a significant milestone that Yoko Ono is planning to commemorate with a touching, record-breaking tribute: the world's largest human peace sign. Ono plans to gather between 6,000 and 10,000 volunteers at Central Park's East Meadow on Lennon's birthday, a feat that Rolling Stone says will land the display a Guinness World Record.

Shortly after the event was announced during a John Lennon Educational Tour Bus stop near City Hall, Ono tweeted a message of peace hinting at the potentially profound nature of constructing the world's largest representation of unity:
