Back in March, we got the honor of blessing the Internet with Athletixx crew member Hoodboi's "Palm Reader," a collaboration with Lido that was all hypnotic future soul and feels. It was perfect for the later winter/early spring crew, and as we dream for an Indian summer, Fool's Gold has unleashed a mighty fine rework from young upstart Jesse Slayter, a producer that's already racked up releases on Mad Decent, Ultra, and Slow Roast.
For his latest trick, Jesse Slayter is a part of the forthcoming Palm Reader remix EP along side the likes of next level acts like Treasure Fingers, SIROJ, Vindata, and Alizz. For Slayter's take on "Palm Reader," he envisioned a triumphant number that pushes the tempo up a bit while adding all kinds of flourishes and a waist-winding appeal to the proceedings. The overwhelming batch of feels are a constant, but this takes things in a more logical, hype space.
Basically, this is proof positive that those who saw something in Slayter early-on were right on the money with their picks.
