Yesterday, the sisters of HAIM stopped by Pharrell Williams' Beats 1 OTHERtone show along with music supervisor Scott Vener. Talking about topics ranging from approaching Pharrell in a mall in 2004 ("Send me the demos" he told them) to seeing him again two days later and jumping in a bush, the conversation was an energetic trip down memory lane. Then the sisters announced they will be getting their own Beats 1 show possibly to be called "Haim Time" following fellow artists Drake, Ezra Koenig, Run The Jewels and St. Vincent. They also revealed they are in the studio working on their new album - and follow up to 2013's wildly successful Days Are Gone according to Pitchfork.
The group then went onto play some of their favorite songs from Jay Z, Cyndi Lauper and Stevie Nicks as they bonded over mutual admiration for Prince and Steely Dan. "You guys are going to have the best radio show," Scott concluded. Watch the video announcement below and check out the full episode here.
