Talib Kweli, Common, Bun B And More Are Performing a Free Show in St. Louis for Michael Brown

Today marks one year since the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, MO that sparked a wealth of angry protests all over the country.  

Complex News is currently on the ground in Ferguson, updating us on everything from the citywide march to the memorial service of Brown at Greater St. Mark church. Later tonight, Talib Kweli’s Action Support Committee is hosted a free hip-hop concert called Ferguson Is Everywhere in St. Louis. It’s set to feature Kweli, Common, Bun B, M1 from Dead Prez,Rapsody, Tef Poe, Kendra Ross, Rebel Diaz, Jasiri X, Immortal Technique, Pharoahe Monch and a DJ set by DJ Needlez.

Hosted by Tory Russell of Hands Up United, concert goers are encouraged to bring canned goods for donations to Hands Up United’s food pantry. Any monetary donations will be collected and given to the family of Michael Brown. The concert will be held at Fubar in St. Louis and it’ll start at 8 p.m.
