As Travis Barker continues his quest to become the Santana of punk rock (that's a compliment), the narrative of his career grows increasingly fascinating. Thankfully, Barker has finally chronicled his journey from basements to arenas — and the MTV reality show, multiple Blink-182 breakups, and prolific collaborations in between — in his forthcoming memoir Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums. Co-written alongside Rolling Stone's Gavin Edwards, Can I Saypromises an intimate look at Barker's life — including the horrific plane crash which nearly took his life in 2008 and friend / collaborator DJ AM's subsequent death in 2009.

Ahead of the book's release on October 20, Barker has unveiled a new emoji-nodding single entitled "100" — featuring Iamsu!, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Ink, and Tyga. The track is presumably from Barker's forthcoming Give the Drummer Some follow-up, which Barker is expected to further tease during his residency at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas:

Back in January, Blink-182 endured a very public falling out — adding to the group's contentious history. Tom DeLonge would eventually exit the group, with Barker and Mark Hoppus announcing plans to replace DeLonge with Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba. The Delongeless trio will continue under the Blink-182 name, as evidenced by recent remarks from Hoppus on his Hi My Name Is Mark podcast detailing a "friendly divorce" from DeLonge reportedly nearing completion.
