On the heels of a string of video exclusives from Drake, Eminem, and Pharrell, Apple Music has just announced plans to release an audiovisual project from M.I.A. next week. Matahdatah Scroll 01 Broader Than a Border will introduce two new songs from M.I.A.'s upcoming record and come packaged with a short film, according to Pitchfork. The news comes exactly a month after M.I.A. announced a three-song mixtape and film project on Instagram. We haven't had much more information since then (though she's been posting some early looks on Instagram) so it seems like this Apple Music exclusive is M.I.A.'s delivery method for that outing.
The mixed-media project is set for release on Monday (July 13) and its announcement came coupled with a teaser. Check out the preview below.
