If his recent poetweets and newfound ability to summon thunderstorms are any indication, Kid Cudi's forthcoming album Speedin' Bullet to Heaven should prove a necessary addition to the Cudi multiverse. In May, Cudi revealed that Heaven would be an entirely featureless project — adding that he hasn't been "this emotional making an album in a long time." On Friday, Cudi took to Twitter to give a proper update on the album — which he affectionately refers to as "musical madness" with some decidedly solo production:

Sbth is 98% finished

You will hear the first single before the end of the month

I produced every record myself, the only other person involved creatively production wise is Plain Pat.

There are no synths or electronic sounds on the album

It consist of all guitar and bass played by myself

This album is 100% the purest form of my artistic self

I've ripped my heart out and carved it into tiny pieces of musical madness

Of course, Cudi has remained busy in the months since Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon — including appearances in Need for Speed, Entourage, and his new role as bandleader on IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang! following the departure of Reggie Watts.
