In April, Gucci Mane's camp announced a forthcoming album collab with Diplo. "NEW EDM ALBUM WITH @diplo ON THE WAY !!!!!" it read, though @diplo was quick to axe the EDM label. For months, this was the only information we had regarding what is sure to be a watershed moment in American history. Gucci Mane's three year prison sentence makes it hard for us to get a quote and—as we found out the hard way—getting Diplo on record ain't all that easy, either.
