Rihanna Will Be the Subject of a Documentary Inspired by Bob Dylan's "Dont Look Back"

Peter Berg will direct and produce.

Dont Look Back followed Bob Dylan in the middle of his polarizing transition from folk to rock on its way to becoming one of the most revered documentaries in music if not in all of cinema. Filmed during his 1965 tour in the United Kingdom, it captured the then young and already iconic singer at his best and worst, charming in one scene and scathing in the next.

The classic documentary will inspire a new film that will offer an "unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon." Filmmaker Peter Berg launched a new production company, Film 45, and announced one of his first projects will be a theatrical feature documentary on the superstar with him directing. He promises it'll be "much more a character study than a music film."

No timeline on the doc's production has been released, but we'll keep you updated as it goes forward. Fingers crossed it doesn't offer the same kind of "access" as her #777 plane
