Meet your 2015 festival killers: ODESZA. No really, check the stats. The Seattle-based electronic duo have been tapped to perform at BUKU Music + Art Project, SXSW, Ultra, Coachella, Hangout, Sasquatch, CRSSD, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Firefly, and several more festivals across the country and overseas in the coming months.

It would be an understatement to say ODESZA's stock has climbed since dropping their standout sophomore release, In Return, last September. Another key element to their success has been their NO.SLEEP mix series, which highlights their vast knowledge for who and what's next. Couple their growing notoriety with an A&R-like touch for future sounds in the scene, and it was clear something special had to be in the works from Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight.

Today, ODESZA officially announce launch Foreign Family Collective, which will serve as an outlet for like-minded individuals in music, graphic design, and other artistic fields. In a similar vein to a Fool's Gold or a Mad Decent, the music will be released as one-off singles, with plans to expand their reach through quality music and equally great relationships. In essence, ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective will be the backbone for upcoming acts looking to gain more exposure, while at the same time give said acts the freedom to pursue other creative endeavors without feeling tied down. It goes without saying: Harrison and Clayton are two stand-up dudes.

Along with the announcement, ODESZA also share the very first record released on Foreign Family Collective, hence the 'FFC001' marker in the cover art above. "Fiend" finds Troy Samuela and Monsoonsiren joining forces for an intense performance that delivers titillating dark pop vibes with an electronic backdrop. These two artists are no strangers to ODESZA, as Troy recently flipped one of their records to perfection, while Monsoonsiren was featured on "Memories That You Call" off In Return.

“Troy Samuela and Monsoonsiren are an unusual pairing for a track which is why this one is so unique," ODESZA explained. "Troy Samuela’s synth work and heavy hip-hop influence blend with Monsoonsiren’s hauntingly beautiful airy vocals in a way that compliment each other in an unexpected way.” An apt description, and one that will continue to be seen and heard as more releases come out.
