Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group has created superstars out of Meek Mill and Wale. Their roster is packed with talent (Fat Trel and Tracy T are the latest additions), and it’s time to hear what Gunplay has to offer with his Def Jam debut Living Legend.
The former Triple C's member went on Instagram to announce the LP is coming out in May of this year. While Living Legend (originally named Medellin) had numerous pushbacks since 2013, it looks like Def Jam is ready to let the livewire of MMG loose. Following singles “Aiight,” “Kush,” and “Scuffed Timbs,” Don Logan also promised a new single “Tell Em Daddy” releasing this week.

“'Tell Em Daddy' is probably going to be the first record on there," he told XXL in June 2014. "It’s basically me telling you who Gunplay is. I wrote the whole record in 30 minutes, like I just couldn’t stop writing until, 'That’s three verses already?' It’s just letting you know who Gunplay is. That’s going to be the intro of the album.”
In the past years, Gunplay has confirmed Pharrell and Yo Gotti as features for a track called “Steel Drums.” Other guests include Young Dro, Curren$y and August Alsina, as well as production from 808 Mafia. You can expect his MMG labelmates to make some appearances too.
