If you've been paying attention to the more mellow, moody side of the electronic music scene, you no doubt should be up on Daktyl, a producer who's called TrapDoor and Cosmonostro home. On April 21, his debut album Cyclical is being dropped via Diplo's Mad Decent imprint, and wise music lovers know that you can snap up three beauts already, including the Evan Mellows-featured "Forgettable." It just makes sense that this beaut of a tune got an equally gorgeous take form another up-and-coming name, the mysterious Slow Magic.

Slow Magic describes his music as "music by your imaginary friend," and while we're not sure what your imaginary homies were doing, Slow Magic's out here making dynamic melodies using snippets of Evan's vocal into a Lido-esque gem. There's a lot going on here, though; you get some elements of the future Jersey club stylings of Nadus' "Nxwxrk," as well as some truly somber, piano-driven moments. It's one of those bits that plucks at your heartstrings without being hyper-cheesy or boring. Future feels for forward-thinkers.
