Spank Rock a.k.a. Naeem Juwan drops a woozy new track "WOW Crime" (White on White Crime) today as a one-off track that touches on everything from equality, misogyny, homophobia and more in rap. Juwan gave Complex a pretty lengthy quote on the meaning behind the track, which can be read in full below:

"I love Black History Month, it's the jiggiest month of the year. In honor of Black History Month I want to offer a free download of my new song "White (on White) Crime", and give thanks to some of my favorite Caucasian Americans: James Eagan Holmes, Daniel Panteleo, Jerry Sandusky, Edward Bernays, Ayn Rand, Kris Kringle, and Cocaine, who's heroism helps keep this month relevant and celebrated.

Many of my friends have asked, 'Why isn't there a White History Month?' I agree. There should be a White History Month. It should begin March 1st, right after all of America is done blithesomely celebrating all black everything, we can reenact (cause Caucasians love a reenactment) applaudable moments in White History, like the extirpation of the American Indians with smallpox, the bombing of Hiroshima, segregationist attacks on the Little Rock Nine, The Kent State Massacres, and the murders of Amadou Diallo and Eric Garner to name a few.

With this song I hope to join the ranks of hip hop artist like KRS One, Mos Def, Killer Mike, Kendrick Lamar, and Azealia Banks, who show great dedication to being black and proud, and expressing it through their music.

The Akan word "Sankofa" means to reach back to the past for forgotten lessons that may benefit the future. Hip-hop does a great job of reaching back to the past, but can be slow moving forward. While the first black President of the United States has helped to legalize gay marriage and fight for wage equality, misogyny and homophobia still play a big part in hip hop culture. 'White (on White) crime' is the future of conscious rap."
