Virginia Beach rapper DP made waves a year ago with his menacing track "Jabar," a song that reminded many of an early Clipse and raps that showed just how the 20-year-old is disgusted with the world. After that, he'd go on to make Rappers to Watch For lists and lay down some collabs with fellow Virginia up-and-comer, D.R.A.M.
But today, the focus is less on DP's come up and more on what's next, and today, over production from Ducko McFli and with a feature from $ha Hef, DP premieres his "Flight Risk" visuals. Directed by Hidji, it's nothing short of a movie, and clocking in at just under two minutes, the gritty visuals seamlessly intertwine with DP's raspy raps. If this is any indication of what's next for him, we can't wait.
