Lil Durk's most recent project, last summer's Signed To The Streets 2, may not have had crossover hits of the magnitude of "Dis Ain't What U Want," but it solidified his position as one of Chicago's most consistent rappers, packed with dense, swirling beats and his patented melodic flow. For his first video of 2015, Durk reaches back to STTS2 to give another push to "Lil Niggaz," which forges a Chicago-to-Atlanta party line with Migos and Ca$h Out. It's a winning combination: Durk holds down hook duty and contributes a verse, and Ca$h Out (who quietly perfected his craft in 2014) proves he can hold his own with some of street rap's most talented young guns. But the members of Migos steal the show: Quavo's verse references Teletubbies and Superbad, and Offset drops the song's best one-liner, "My plug is an alien, not from this earth." Durk's Def Jam debut album remains on the back-burner, but hopefully "Lil Niggaz" can get some shine in the meantime; watch the video above.
