When not drinking beer out of his shoe while DJing at Australia's Stereosonic Festival, going "one deeper" as DJ Hanzel, filming remakes of scenes in the film Ghost with 12th Planet, still celebrating the release of his debut artist album Money Sucks, Friends Rule with Columbia Records, or prepping a highly-anticipated moombahton EP with Skrillex, Los Angeles' Dillon Francis is now also filming a TV show pilot for MTV. While we have no idea what Francis' program will look like (or even exactly what it's about), he tells Triple J that DJ Hanzel, DJ Rich as Fuck, or any of his other Internets-famous characters will be on the show because he wants to "keep the rights" to those personalities. Oh yeah, he's finishing a remix for Madeon's impressive 2014 single "Imperium," too. It's certainly an incredible life Dillon Francis has these days, one that he has absolutely earned.
