Lucki Eck$ plays a hustler on the come-up in his new video for "Finesse," where the Chicago rapper hits the corner for a block exchange and money on his mind. The SKYWLKR-produced record is off Lucki's latest mixtape, Body High, who says the theme behind it came while on the road with another fellow Midwest rapper.
"I got inspiration to do the song while browsing through SKYWLKR's beats on 'The Old Danny Brown' tour and specifically chose this beat for its bass, knowing that I could 'finesse' a hit out of it."
Jimmy Regular is the behind the lens for "Finesse," and delivers the concept seamlessly through the video. "Finesse' is a liquid narrative told in four separate segments, with no correlation between them, on how Lucki claims he 'finesses life,'" he says.
