"Stevie Wonder," the latest from Lucki Eck$, doubles as a meeting of some of the minds for a few of Chicago's most insular experimenters. He's joined by Chance the Rapper, who's reportedly at work on a new project called Surf along with his band the Social Experiment, along with super-producer Young Chop and Plu2o Nash, who's contributed eerie beats to King Louie's Drilluminati and both of Lucki's tapes. But despite the wide range of collaborators, Lucki manages to bring them all into his wavy, zoned-out universe; Chance sounds mellower than ever, and Chop's usually bombastic drill sounds are smoothed-out. Stream "Stevie Wonder" below, and if you missed it, check Lucki's August mixtape, Body High, here.
