2014 has been good to Key!, the Atlanta rapper, producer, and former member of the Two 9 crew. After years of ghostwriting, and an arsenal of excellent, under-the-radar releases like 2013's Fathers Are The Curse, he's finally getting the shine he deserves, with features on two of the year's biggest breakthrough hits ("Look At Wrist," "U Guessed It") and a stream of solid EPs (in particular, Give Em Hell with OG Maco, and his recent FKeyI project with production duo FKi). His latest song, the queasy, ominous "Tighten Up," features Two 9's Wavy Wallace (the two recently linked on the Chuck Inglish-produced "Suite") and a trippy, Mortal Kombat-themed video.
