As part of Converse's ongoing CONS EP VOL 2 project, the fifth and final single from the EP drops today, which brings together Kevin Gates and Rustie on "Wait In Line." This unique, but dynamic collaboration fits in with the rest of the project, which placed together 10 different artists from varying genres to mix and celebrate musical diversity between hip-hop, rock, EDM, and more.
On "Wait In Line," Gates and Rustie connect for an electronic and hip-hop infused thrill ride that features exhilarating, bass-pounding and synth-heavy production from Rustie, which meshes wonderfully with Gates' signature Southern style of hip-hop. The single was created in multiple locations, with Gates’ recording vocals in his mobile studio throughout the U.S., and Rustie producing and mixing the track in his home recording studio in Glasgow.
