Today, Australian born singer CHLØË BLACK debuts her video for "27 Club." Shot at the Barnes Old Cemetery in London, the up-and-comer pays homage to all of the great artists who lost their lives at the young age of 27 including Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Amy Winehouse, and Jim Morrison. She wrote, shot and edited this video in just three days, and almost lost her hand in the process. "Don't use flares," she says.

"27 Club" is dark and is sure to draw a lot of comparisons to Lana Del Rey, especially considering that Lana recently performed in a cemetery. However, CHLØË BLACK's voice is significantly more powerful, and the video has an unusually personal touch to it. "Cemeteries have always held a fond place in my heart as my father used to take me for walks through our local one in Paris, and then as a teenager they served as clandestine watering holes," she says. "Towards the end of the day of filming we noticed that the statue where we had been filming a lot was to commemorate a man who died at 27." You can see this man's epitaph at the end of the video.
