Your Old Droog took the stage at New York City's Webster Hall last night and made his debut performance in front of a sold out crowd. Backed by DJ Skizz, he entertained with songs like "Free Turkey" and poked fun of the conspiracy theories that have been circulating online for months.

The concert brought out real rap fans, record label executives (including Shady Records' Paul Rosenberg), and even The Today Show's Tamron Hall. At one point, Droog stopped to play a friendly game of Cee-Lo with Sean Price and Queens duo Timeless Truth, who opened up the show alongside Boston's Michael Christmas. Nas, of course, was nowhere in sight.

On Sunday, Droog made an appearance on Rap Is Outta Control with Skizz (who filled in for the show's usual host, DJ Eclipse) and dropped some bars over Mad Lion's "Take It Easy." Included in the verse is a slick reference to Complex: "Rappers think that their style is Complex/They're just listing names off/And that's Ego Trip son/but who am I?/Germaphobe, give you dap with a fist/Hip-hop baptist/I purify Lake Minnetonka/And my sacred text is The Book of Rap Lists."

Now that he's put the wild rumors to rest, it's time for Droog to shine on his own merit.
