Listen to Tunji Ige’s “The Ex Song”

Exes suck, so go pop a bottle and get some money.

Tunji Ige is back with a solo cut today called "The Ex Song, "off of his upcoming tape The Love Project. The 19-year-old Philly rapper got our attention with the "Day2Day (Remix)" featuring Michael Christmas and ILOVEMakonnen earlier this month.

"The Ex Song" isn't as playful as "Day2Day (Remix)," but he makes up for the lack of humor with an incredibly catchy hook about poppin' bottles, cashing checks, and having sex because what else is there in life? It's an impressive track with lines like, "Gone too fast, know I need to switch the lanes/I'm praying that I never call you at your name/for the price of fame, will I change?/I'm already ballin' but this shit a different game."

Tunji Ige handled the production for "The Ex Song," making the ultimate I-hate-my-ex beat to croon over. Listen to the track below while you wait for The Love Project to drop.
