Long Beach rapper Joey Fatts has had quite a busy few years. When he rolled through our offices recently, we spoke to him about everything from coming up in the industry to his newest mixtape, Chipper Jones Vol. 3, which features Vince Staples, A$AP Rocky, and his 36 Brickhouse label boss Waka Flocka Flame. On his latest project, Fatts only produced one track, and handed off the production duties to a number of artists, mostly because he's worried about over-saturating the market with his sound. He admires producers like Mike WiLL Made It because of their sonic diversities.

Fatts spoke about how much his life has changed over the last year or two, and these days, he's jet-setting all over the world "racking up SkyMiles, trying to get that gold medallion." Watch the video above for more from our conversation with Joey Fatts, and check out his Chipper Jones Vol. 3 tape right here.
