Chuck D has not shied away from his public criticism of Hot 97 in recent months, which all stem from his anger over the state of urban radio. Those criticisms eventually led to a Twitter argument between Chuck and Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg . Jay Electronica later chimed in, and said that Rosenberg needed to publicly apologize to Chuck D.

It looks like that apology came today during Rosenberg's "The Realness" segment on Hot 97. During the clip, Rosenberg spoke about his connection to Chuck D's music, and apologized for using his "public voice to bring any disrespect towards him." He added that he feels regretful for his comments and that Chuck D is one of the main reasons he has such a passion for hip-hop.

Chuck D has since tweeted his response to the apology, saying that Rosenberg was never the real problem, but rather Hot 97 as a whole and how they handle urban radio.
