The Beastie Boys' sophomore album, Paul's Boutique, celebrates its 25th anniversary today. To commemorate the date, there is a mural being painted on the street corner where the Paul's Boutique store once stood. Designed by artist Danielle Mastrion, the mural will be placed on the outside wall of Wolfnights, a sandwich shop on Rivington and Ludlow streets.

The mural is a project of LeRoy McCarthy, who you may remember from the petition to rename the intersection "Beastie Boys Square." While that initiative fell through, McCarthy will be able to see this project through to completion, thanks to the support of Wolfnights.
